About

Hello. I’m Roseanne. I am an Occupational Therapist, accredited Lymphoedema practitioner and owner of Encompass Therapy. My passion is supporting people to function better and live well regardless of injury, illness or ageing. Encompass Therapy is located in Lambton, Newcastle.

As an Occupational Therapist with over 25 years clinical experience, my approach to treatment encompasses many different strategies to assist in the management of a variety of conditions. I use a range of treatments to reduce swelling, scarring and pain, minimise complications and improve function.

I have a special interest in working with people living with cancer and its after-effects. Cancer treatment often has lasting impacts on the body’s function and on participation in valued tasks and life roles long after the cancer treatment has finished. Pain, scarring, movement limitation and weakness, swelling, fatigue and “chemobrain” type symptoms such as concentration, memory and problem solving issues are all challenges that can be experienced during and after cancer treatment. I will work with you to prioritise your goals for treatment to enable you to function better and live well.
